What is the Certified Six Sigma Green Belt credential?

It is a credential designed by the American Society for Quality for those team members who will actually implement the projects identified as improvement opportunities. The Green Belt holders have two primary tasks:

- To help successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques
- To lead small-scale improvement projects within their respective areas.

Here are just a few of the things you will discover in your green belt training:

- Measurement of Performance
- Analysis
- Improvement of Performance
- Control
- Documentation and Presentation

During the Six Sigma Green Belt Training you will learn how to use many of the Six Sigma problem-solving methods and statistical tools to contribute to the success of your organization. Such methods of business process improvements include :

- Communicating a business strategy across the organization
- Integrating with Lean Manufacturing, TOC, & other improvement methods
- Applying the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) improvement process
- Selecting successful Six Sigma projects and project teams
- Planning and executing projects
- Significantly increasing profitability through Six Sigma projects
- Selecting the right statistical tools
- Actively participating in a Six Sigma team
